The final word on Chris Anderson

I was talking to media relations director Ricky Hazel, and he said the final word on running back Chris Anderson is that he’s going to miss the year as a prop (partial qualifier). That means he can’t practice with the team this fall or next spring, similar to linebacker Kanorris Davis. He also can’t work out with the team, but they can do so on their own. They’re still in school at Troy.

I just found this out, and they’re practicing, but no doubt Troy coaches are peeved. I’ve had some colorful quotes from them on this situation and I know they worked hard to get him eligible, which they thought he was from the get-go.
Anderson had risen as high as No. 2 on the running back depth chart in fall camp. He’s from Fort Lauderdale.
