QB race could wait another day

Talked to offensive coordinator Neal Brown very briefly and he said that nothing would be announced today in regards to who Troy’s staring QB will be Saturday (and, presumably for the rest of the year). I guess anything could change in the world of college football, but this is where we are now.
It’s still between Levi Brown and Tanner Jones. Jerrel Jernigan will get some work in, I’m sure. I didn’t include stuff from him in today’s stories, but I will have that at some point this week. Redshirt still stays on Dan Parker unless more injuries occur, but he’s now on the travel squad. Yesterday coach Larry Blakeney said Jonathan Chandler, a former QB turned WR, would only be a dire emergency option, as he’s trying to work to get on the field as a WR.
