HALFTIME: UF 49, Troy 7

September 08, 2007

..........................................

I hope that Jerry Miller sounds good on the radio

I see why these people love Tebow. He’s dead on accurate, which I guess isn’t hard. Of course, I admit ignorance to defensive schemes but no one’s within 10 yards of the UF receivers when they catch their passes. I don’t know if that’s the “bend but don’t break” scheme or if Florida is picking off defenders in their routes.

I suspect it’s sheer and natural SPEED.

Wait, Leodis McKelvin just let a squibber roll through his arms.

I’d like to apologize to Western Kentucky’s defense. They only gave up 49 points in three and a half quarters.

I’m keeping Omar Haugabook in the locker room. No sense in having him get injured in what is now a meaningless game. Time to introduce Jamie Hampton and Tanner Jones to big-time football.

Uh oh, UAB’s up 17-10 at Florida State. Weren’t we just there last year?

I still contend if Troy throws the ball downfield, it would look better offensively. Either it’s not being called or it’s not being thrown. I have no idea. The pass to Cornelius Williams prior to the tip and INT was the best pass of the night. And he was open! I bet it’s been there more often than not.

I may not know football, but I am staying at a Holiday Inn Express tonight.
