DAILY ADVERTISER: Troy RB has won battle on and off field - their feature on Maurice Greer. He’s been a hot topic among opposing teams’ papers because of his recovery from testicular cancer. He almost broke a kickoff return late against LSU - I think it was the series where Troy went for it on 4th down and missed.
SHREVEPORT TIMES: Gents get first win under Gary - Centenary, a team I saw get manhandled by Baylor Monday, beat Troy yesterday. Trojans (0-3) play Alcorn State today at 1:30 in LSU. Richard Delk scored 23 and Tom Jervis 18.
