First official visitor

I’ll make a general recruiting post for the 2009 class later, but the first official visitor for Troy this year is expected to be on campus this weekend.
That would be Josh Brown, a 5-foot-11, 204-pound cornerback from St. Petersburg, Fla. (Dixie Hollins HS). Rivals.com says he’s already taken official visits to Iowa and Wake Forest. Those two schools, plus Troy, are his top three choices.
He is being recruited to Troy by Chad Scott and is scheduled to be Troy’s only official visitor. The ULL game Nov. 22 is slated to be a big recruiting weekend.
As you know with recruiting, anything can change until Feb. 4, 2009, which is National Signing Day.
