Another QB update

Spoke with head coach Larry Blakeney post-practice.
Right now, the battle is still ongoing. It could be resolved later tonight when Blakeney and offensive coordinator Neal Brown talk again, but I don’t expect a decision to be announced until Wednesday at the earliest.
“It’s going to be closer to game time,” Blakeney said. “We’re trying to be as open as we can. They’re so close statistically, it’s unbelievable, not only in the spring but now. Neal’s got some good reasoning for what he’s thinking and we want to be sure it proves right. I really believe both will play unless one is pretty hot. It might be a deal where we don’t announce one until game time.”
Personally I think they’ll pick one. They’re both good, heady kids with strong arms but you can’t bring in one that will add a different dimension (other than accuracy on a given night).
