Luverne DL picks Troy

February 03, 2008

A visit to Troy this weekend helped Luverne (Ala.) defensive end Stoney Jackson make up his mind. The 6-foot-3 1/2, 240-pound end committed to Troy.

“I liked my visit,“ Jackson said. “Being around the coaches really helped me make my decision.“

Jackson’s primary recruiter was Shayne Wasden and he was hosted by defensive tackle Maurice Coleman.

“(Wasden) is one of the main reasons I want to go to Troy,“ Jackson said.

Jackson chose Troy over Marshall.
