The McWane Science Center offers a full day of brainy, kid-friendly fun. Enjoy hands-on scientific learning in the 9,000-square-foot, interactive Science Quest where you can build your own roller coaster, launch a tennis ball high in the air, or play in Just Mice Size — an exhibit built for children ages 5 and younger where everything is 10 times its normal size! Older kids will love the Hurricane Simulator, the Wild Earth Safari Simulator, and the MaxFlight Motion Simulator. All ages will enthusiastically dive into The World of Water — a permanent exhibit that includes habitat tanks full of exotic as well as local aquatic life. When all the activity has your feet weary, recline in the John W. Woods Imax Dome Theater where a five-story screen towers above and surrounds you with unparalleled digital sound. The McWane Center is a world of science and learning disguised in amusement-park fun!
