Casual elegance, an open kitchen, and lots of fun is what awaits those who eat at Hot and Hot Fish Club. The restaurant is owned by husband-and-wife duo, Indie and Chris Hastings. On an almost-nightly basis, Indie will be found greeting customers, while her husband and Executive Chef, Chris, can be observed at the chef’s counter, directing the kitchen. Chris is the winner of a gold medal at the 1985 Atlanta Culinary Show and has gained extensive culinary experience throughout the United States – from North Carolina to California. In 1995, Chris and Indie directed all of their culinary skills, creative flair and business knowledge into the opening of Hot and Hot Fish Club. The interior of the restaurant is designed with an eye toward eclectic expression, as everything from tables, to chandeliers, to serving dishes, were created by individual artists. It is this kind of intimate attention to detail that marks the menu selection as well. From seared rare yellowfin tuna on crawfish risotto, to shrimp and grits with country ham, the menu has something for all taste buds to savor. The bar area is a great place to meet friends and enjoy one of Hot and Hot’s signature cocktails like the watermelon margarita. Reservations are recommended.
