Dothan, Alabama isn’t just home to the National Peanut Festival. It is also a town that loves peanuts so much, they have created a peanut art project called Peanuts Around Town. Peanuts Around Town enables the citizens of Dothan and visitors alike to celebrate the peanut, an agricultural staple, throughout the year. Peanuts Around Town consists of 67 peanut sculptures, thematically decorated by local artists. The creation of each peanut was sponsored by a local business or organization. Join the hundreds of visitors who have already taken the challenge to find all 67 peanuts, and see the Peanuts Around Town public-art project yourself. Peanut maps are available through The Downtown Group who sponsors the nutty art exhibit.
