1350 Raptor Road Auburn University, Alabama 36849-5524 334.844.6943 www.vetmed.auburn.edu Organizations, business, scout clubs and schools should make a reservation to attend an educational program at the Southeastern Raptor Center located at Auburn University. Since its inception in the 1970s, the Southeastern Raptor Center has developed into a state-of-the-art facility where injured raptors are nursed back to health. The Center also conducts extensive research and educates Auburn University students as well as the public on these magnificent birds of prey. Participants in one of the Center’s educational programs will learn about raptors such as hawks, eagles, and falcons. The educational program also allows visitors the opportunity to see raptors up close while learning about their habitats, conservation, and ecology. The Raptor Center will even travel to schools, businesses and other organizations, and provide on-site demonstrations. Requested demonstrations can be as short as one hour or as long as a whole day, and the focus can be tailored to suit specific needs and interests.
