The statistic is not surprising. After all, in this region alone one can travel a short distance and see a number of professional baseball games. In Montgomery, baseball fans can watch the Montgomery Biscuits, an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Even though the team was founded in 2003, a Biscuits Baseball experience at Riverwalk Stadium is surprisingly full of history as the stadium itself was built into a train station that was constructed in 1898. As fans enter the stadium, they enter through the magnificent, historical building. In 2006, Riverwalk Stadium was voted Best Place in the Nation to see a baseball game by the Tour for the Cure baseball participant — and that includes both major-league and minor-league baseball stadiums!
