Pet owners and their dogs can be seen dressed in matching Halloween costumes at the annual Howl’oween Parade in downtown Opelika. This festive canine parade gives awards for the best costumes in the pack. Other events include canine trick-or-treating, and canine bobbing-for-tennis-balls. The 2007 Howl’oween Parade will be on Monday, October 29th and pre-event registration is available at Canine American Dog Boutique in downtown Opelika. All event proceeds benefit Rescue K9-1-1.
