The Racetrack, located just off Interstate 20 in Talladega, seats over 143,000 people and holds the world record for the fastest, 500-mile stockcar race, as well as the most lead changes and leaders in a NASCAR Nextel Cup series event. Events include the Aaron’s 499 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Race in April and the UAW-Ford 500 Nascar Nextel Cup Series Race in October. The Track also hosts truck racing, Busch series stockcar racing, and ARCA series stockcar racing. Plus, van tours of the world-famous Racetrack are available almost daily. Also at the Track is the International Motorsports Hall of Fame, which pays tribute to greats of motorsports.
