Puppet Shows aren’t just for kids. Through their Xperimental Puppet Theater, the Center for Puppetry Arts presents puppet shows with adult themes, exploring everything from relationships to politics. The Center for Puppetry Arts offers more than just an interesting entertainment alternative for adults. The Center is also a museum, dedicated to everything-puppets. Puppets, puppet books, puppet videos, puppet posters and special puppet exhibits are what make the Museum educational as well as entertaining. The Museum holds over 350 puppets for an exciting, hands-on experience for children and adults alike. Other permanent exhibits include a video of Jim Henson interviewing six of his favorite puppeteers, and a puppet storeroom, where performance puppets are found lining the walls, ceiling and floor. The Center also has puppet shows for children, as well as workshops for children, teens and adults.
