Tour the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion in Mobile. Built in 1855 by Judge John Bragg, the home is one of the grandest antebellum mansions on the Gulf Coast. The Mansion is canopied by a grove of century-old oak trees. Inside the Mansion, visitors will discover an elegant foyer with a circular staircase, fine antiques, luxurious draperies, a massive double parlor and a lavish dining room. Historic tours are available Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Mansion, which has over 100 weddings and parties per year, is also available for rental for any type of event.
