It’s Joey Huskins’ world…

And the rest of us are just living in it.

Huskins, the former AU catcher, is still in town, and apparently he’s a regular at Plainsman Park. He’s enough of a regular that he’s participated TWICE this season in the Tiger Trivia promotion Auburn Marketing runs during the sixth inning.

Now, maybe there’s a shortage of people who want to participate. But since the promotion comes with some kind of “prize pack” I find it hard to believe they can’t find anyone else who’s willing to stand on top of the third-base dugout and answer a trivia question for prizes.

So what’s the deal?

In an unrelated story, Josh Donaldson just broke out of his mini-slump with a nice single. Unfortunately for Auburn, it’s probably not going to matter. Luke Greinke, hitting in front of Donny, and Mike Bianucci, hitting behind him, both swung at the first pitch and both popped up. That’s not exactly a great approach at the plate. (Inning’s over. Joseph Sanders grounds out to end the mini-rally.)
