They’re here!
Forty-one women from across Georgia arrived in Columbus Saturday morning. They’re all competing for the opportunity to become the next Miss Georgia.
Saturday, contestants registered at the RiverCenter in Uptown Columbus. There they dropped off costumes and wardrobe items they’ll be using during the pageant competition.
While the contestants were at the RiverCenter, they were interviewed for their profile page on this website.
Contestants also checked into their rooms that they will share for the next week with three other contestants.
Saturday marks the beginning of a week of rehearsals and competition, with $60,000 in scholarship money at stake. The winner, who will be crowned Miss Georgia, will take home a $15,000 dollar scholarship and have the opportunity to represent the state of Georgia at the Miss America Pageant.
