Smart Women’s Lunch in Savannah
I was invited to attend the Smart Women’s Lunch in Savannah and it was wonderful. I was able to hear Ellen Burstyn discuss issues facing today’s women. I learned so much and was honored to have the opportunity to meet her. She is so down to earth and insightful! One of her comments about service really struck a chord with me and I agree whole-heartedly. She said, “Service means simply looking around to see what needs to be done and doing it.“ I thought this idea was so simple yet incredibly powerful. We should all take a moment every now and then to look around, see what needs to be done and do it!!!
