Practice Makes Perfect

Monday is a big day in the competition. Read on to see why.

The forty one titleholders put in a full day of work in an effort to add one more title to their resume. Monday began with a talent rehearsal for the Mu group. Then came the swimsuit competition rehearsal. But Monday holds much, much more than the standard rehearsals. The first group to go through interviews is the Mu group. Five judges are asking the tough questions to find out who will be the next Miss Georgia. The interview counts for 25% of the contestant’s score. That young lady will go on to represent the Peach State in the Miss America Pageant.

In case you are wondering about the crown that will grace the head of the winner, it has four points around the top for a reason. Those four points stand for scholarship, service, style, and success.
