Alabama’s 21-14 loss to Louisiana-Monroe Saturday certainly fits the bill. So does LSU’s 13-10 homecoming defeat to fledgling UAB back in his debut season at LSU seven years earlier.
Senior linebacker Darren Mustin had tears of frustration welling in his eyes. Asked what he was feeling after the game, he started, stopped, and shook his head. “I can’t do this,” he said. “I can’t do this.” He left the interview area.
