New Ozark mayor, council meets

The Ozark City Council voted to elect the same department heads from the last four years back into their respective positions. Deputy City Clerk Melissa Robinson will take over the duties of former city clerk and new mayor, Billy Blackwell. In addition, Public Works director Steve Price will also serve as the Building Department director.

The department heads are as follows:
City Clerk/Treasurer – Melissa Robinson – vote unanimous
Police chief – Tony Spivey – vote unanimous
Fire chief – Dempsey Barefield – vote unanimous
Public Works director – Steve Price – vote unanimous
Leisure Services director – Mickey Roy Snell – vote unanimous
Municipal Judge – Robert (Bob) Brogden – vote unanimous
City Prosecutor – Ladonna Spivey – vote unanimous
Public Defender – Joe Walker – vote unanimous
SEAL Gas Board – Mayor Billy Blackwell – vote unanimous
Utilities Board – Stanley Enfinger – vote unanimous
Planning Commission – Jerry Red Crittenden – vote unanimous
Leisure Services board – Mike Barefield – vote unanimous
Ozark Technology Center advisory board – Mark Blankenship – vote unanimous
