Ozark man gets 123 months for construction site thefts

William Brooks, 34, of Ozark was charged in January with multiple counts of theft and burglary after he allegedly sneaked into construction sites and stole material, which he allegedly stored in a personal storage unit. On Thursday, Dale County Circuit Judge P.B. McLauchlin sentenced Brooks to 123 months in prison, which Dale County District Attorney Kirke Adams said was the maximum for the crimes.

Daleville Cleanup Week

The City of Daleville will host its cleanup week from now to Saturday, June 21. Residents and businesses are encouraged to put whatever trash they have at the road side to be picked up including tree limbs, old lumber, refrigerators, etc. NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. The city will pick up old tires for one time only and from residents only on these days.
