Light at the end of the Tunnel

When I first started this contest I knew from prior experience that I could hang in there on the diet but was concerned about the exercise.Seriously I couldnt walk for 10 minutes on the treadmill without a break.I check the blog daily and have read in amazement of the weight training and cardio accomplishments of those who have posted their results.I promise if I could report the same kind of improvement everyone would have heard a long time ago.I have been trying to overcome 20 years of inactivity and weight gain and am measuring my progress in baby steps.
I cant say enough about everyone at Fitness 150.Josh Bottoms,Glenn Brown,Sylvester “Sly” Little,Courtney and Shannon have all contributed to my success. They have been upbeat, encouraging and have worked around things that I simply cant do because of my knees. My wife,Suzanne has been my biggest cheerleader.Without her support I wouldnt be writing this. She goes with me to my workouts and Im proud to report she has only giggled a few times.
Healthy Connections has been great.I have tried to get the word out that it is an easy way to take the guesswork out of healthy eating. Thanks so mush for providing the meals.
To date I have lost 45 pounds and am pushing for a double secret goal weight as we move toward the finish line.Even so I will not be in bicycle shorts for the group shoot nor in a speedo for my 25th anniversary trip at the end of the month. But who knows with the help of Fitness Together and Healthy Connectons anything is possible.
Have a great week!!!
