I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN

Zero pounds lost this past week, yes zero. Nine plus hours of working out, eating healthy for the past week and zero pounds lost. I feel great except that it’s hard to sit down because I’m so sore, but mentally I’m good. The weight is much slower coming off then I was expecting. I was wanting to lose five pounds per week and total for the past four weeks I’ve only lost eleven.
Why do men lose so much faster then women? Brett, Mike, James, Shannon and Joe at the Summit Fitness Together have been awesome. I have been pushed harder then I ever thought was possible and actually look forward to my daily workout. I haven’t been blogging like I should because I’ve been discouraged by the scale but no more. I’m not going to let the scale have that power over me. I just read The Little Engine That Could to my little guy and I will keep chug, chug, chugging along. I agree with everybody this past weekend was hard, food temptations everywhere. Saturday night I found myself at Olive Garden (I don’t know how that happened) but I was good. I had grilled salmon cooked without butter and salad with dressing on the side. Salad without the wonderful Olive Garden croutons. Guess where I will be August 1. Now I need to go throw my scale away!!
