Holiday Well wishes

Karl, great job on the push ups. 36 is awesome. I agree with you. I post these blogs to hopefully encourage others not boast. The Big Prize is our health. Everyone is different. There goals and accomplishments will also be different. However, they are still importand and significant. I encourage everyone to post and shares their highs and lows. It keeps us all accountable and encouraged.
I also learned that each person has their strengths and weaknesses. The elliptical has been my “thing.” I have tried to set short term goals to keep everything new and exciting. My goal of 400 calories in 20 minutes was a goal I set this week. I started at 24:00, then 22:28, then 21:00 and today 19:16. I had to maintain a pace of over 60 RPM’s at level 15. That is a calorie every 3 seconds. I was very proud and happy. However, we ended the work out with more cardio...Jogging. We jogged a minute, then walked 2 minutes for 20 minutes. Jogging 1 minute was hard. Talking about humbling. Jogging is obviously not my “thing.” It may be one of yours.
Todd, be strong at the beach. Take the stairs and running in the sand is definitely a work out. Lori, congrats on the DDP fast. I am still drinking my one Diet Dew in the morning to avoid a caffein head ache. That is still one of my vices that I would like to give up. I am drinking the reccomended water so hopefully that helps.
Everyone have a great holiday weekend. Stay strong and safe.
Oh and everyone look for the commercial this Sunday and Monday. I sound nasally and look kind of goofy but it was fun. Don’t laugh too hard your time is coming.
