Auburn’s 2009 football schedule is quickly taking shape.
Monday, Ball State became the third acknowledged opponent on AU’s non-conference schedule for ’09, joining West Virginia and Furman.
According to a press release issued by Ball State’s athletic department, the game is scheduled for Sept. 26, 2009 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Auburn is 2-0 against Ball State, with a 30-0 win in 2001 and a 63-3 victory in 2005, both at home.
Only one open slot remains on AU’s 12-game regular-season schedule for 2009. All three of the currently scheduled non-conference games will be played at Jordan-Hare, along with SEC games against Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Kentucky.
AU will play SEC road games at Arkansas, LSU, Tennessee and Georgia in 2009.
