The Auburn women’s basketball team extended its European winning streak Tuesday with a 101-54 victory over Hradec Kralove.

Rising seniors Whitney Boddie and DeWanna Bonner each turned in double-doubles to lead the Tigers on both sides of the ball.

“It has been exciting to see this group play these two games,” head coach Nell Fortner said. “This trip has been an incredible experience for our staff and players and I think we have accomplished what we set out to do. We still have one game left and we look to continue to play well collectively and come away with three wins.”

Boddie scored 11 points and led the Tigers with 10 assists and eight steals. Bonner led the offensive front with 33 points, while contributing a team best 11 rebounds. Bonner also added six assists and three steals.

“We played good defense today and I am happy for another win,” Bonner said. “The two games we have had in Europe have really showed what great physical shape that we are in and that will be important for us during the season. Our shots fell today and we contributed.”

In addition to Boddie and Bonner’s double-digit scoring efforts, Sherell Hobbs turned in 23 points and KeKe Carrier added 12. Reneisha Hobbs scored 9, Trevesha Jackson 6 and Jordan Greenleaf 5.

Auburn will conclude its international schedule today versus Nitra BBC in Slovakia. Auburn will depart Prague this morning and bus to
Bratislava, Slovakia. The Tigers fourth game that was scheduled for Thursday against Foton Gyor BBC (of Hungary) was cancelled.
