After a weekend away, the Auburn baseball will be at home for a while.
The Tigers (4-4) will play eight games in nine days beginning today, all of which will be at Plainsman Park.
Auburn kicks off the home stand at 6 tonight against Davidson.
The Tigers, coming off a four-game losing streak to Florida State, will send Scott Shuman to the mound tonight for the sophomore’s first career start.
Coming off of an impressive relief outing in which he threw six innings and retired the final 14 hitters he faced, Shuman will be looking to get the Tigers back on track.
After a back-to-back set with Davidson, Auburn plays host to VMI for a four-game series beginning Thursday. Auburn will then take a day off before closing out the home stand with a back-to-back set against Appalachian State on March 11 and 12.
Tonight’s game against Davidson is Two Dollar Tuesday, and all tickets are $2. Wednesday is Youth Night, and all kids 17-and-under get in free with a cap and glove.
