Lauren is an Americus native who enjoys dance. She also works to raise breast cancer awareness. Lauren would like to make issues regarding breast cancer more widely known not just to women, but also to men. When not taking up this cause or studying, she loves to read and play with her miniature dachshund, Lola. The University of Georgia freshman would one day like to study Optometry at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

We are so proud of you! I went over to Joni Westbury’s last night because her computer screen is bigger! Jesse, Jilli, Emma, and I lay on the floor and watched… until you made the top 5 and then we were all jumping up and down! Thank you for representing Plains so well…
