Danielle works to increase awareness and prevention of tuberculosis. Her grandfather’s struggle with TB and her witness to the disease in Africa inspired her to promote this platform. Danielle would like to one day teach second grade. An interesting fact about this Jesup native is that she once slept in a box to raise awareness about displaced refugees in Africa. Danielle feels that although raising funds is wonderful, donating time is invaluable.
