U.S. Rep. Artur Davis was in Auburn Tuesday for a Democratic fundraiser. Opelika-Auburn News reporter Katie Stallcup caught up with him for a few minutes and asked him, among other things, about the 2010 gubernatorial race and what Barack Obama’s presidential campaign means to his own career.

Bottom line, Davis sure sounds like a candidate ... all that’s missing is the announcement.

But it looks like we’ll be getting one of those in February.
