John and Ashley were married on NBC13HD in 2006
John and I first met and dated in Junior High School where we took a school trip to Disney World. Teenage relationships usually don't last, and neither did ours. We broke up but still remained friends throughout high school and college. We started dating again in college and eventually fell in love. During a surprise trip to Disney World, John proposed after the fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom. He proposed in the identical spot that we had watched the fireworks when we were in Junior High School.
Our experience with the NBC13 Throws a Wedding was absolutely wonderful! We could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day. Everything that was chosen by public and provided by NBC13 was fantastic and helped make our day special. We would not have changed anything, and would do it all over again. We thank NBC13 for everything they did for us!
Since the wedding, we have bought a house and a pet rabbit named Elvis. John is working as a probation officer and Ashley is working as a nurse. We do not currently have any kids, but they are in our future.
